My child is French and/or Bilingual. Do you offer services in both official languages?

Yes! Our clinicians are bilingual (French and English).

Where do the therapy sessions take place?

We offer sessions at our clinic located in the heart of Orleans. Sessions can also be provided in the comfort of your own home, daycare, private school and/or workplace. Please note that travel fees are applicable. 

Are Speech-Language Pathology services covered by my insurance company?

A receipt will be given after each sessions for insurance purposes. The percentage of coverage depends on your insurance company.

Do I or my child need to be referred to your clinic by a doctor?

A referral from a doctor is not required, although accepted. Otherwise, referral can be made directly by yourself or the child’s parent(s) by submitting our form on our “Contact” page.

What are the clinic fees for Speech-Language Pathology services?

Our rates for Speech-Language Pathology services are competitive and are well within the fee guideline recommended by the Ontario Association of  Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA).

Do you offer evening and weekend appointments?

Yes! Evening and weekend appointments may be scheduled depending on the clinician’s availability.

What is a Speech-Language Pathologist?

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP for short) is a health professional who provide assessment, treatment and consultation for communication and swallowing disorders. A SLP can help children (preschool and school-aged children) as well as adults with their communication needs.

What is Hippotherapy?

Hippotherapy is a horse-assisted therapy approach where Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, who have received additional training in this area, use the movement, rhythm and repetition of the horse to target therapy goals.

Will I be receiving a report following an assessment?

A report can be provided upon request at a fee (140$/hour needed to write the report).
